At NorPower we take pride in not just doing the job right, but in doing it well. We are committed to consistently providing an efficient service of the highest standard.
From first point of contact, throughout planning and operation, to reinstatement and final review we take a partnership approach, working with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to agree and meet requirements, whilst protecting health and safety and minimising environmental impacts.
The OHL industry is a hazardous one and we put extremely high emphasis on safe working and staff training as well as continuously monitoring, researching and investing in specialist machinery and equipment to help minimise the risks involved. All of our employees are provided with EUSR SHEA Power training as well as various other external courses and in-house training and coaching. Our fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment and associated working practices has seen several ‘firsts’ in, not only the OHL industry, but in the UK.
In addition to the risks to health and safety, we are keenly aware of the potential effects of our operations on the local and global environment and our legal and moral responsibilities to minimise and manage those impacts for current and future generations. At each stage of our operations we make every reasonable effort to minimise the environmental impact, including investing in ultra-modern EU Class 6 HGVs for transportation, energy efficient lighting equipment at our head office/depot, and specifying bio degradable oil in all new vehicles/plant.
Our quality, environment and health & safety management systems are 3rd party certified to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
Further testament to the standard of our services is the positive feedback received time and again from clients and other interested parties:
”Thank you very much for you and your teams efforts in completing the [project] ahead of schedule, under budget and with no accidents.”
”… the guys at NorPower have done a great job in some very difficult ground conditions … considering the extent of the work that has gone on to install the line, the works area was finished off well.”
